The Buddha pictured here is at Phuttamonthon, a large Buddhist park in Nakhon Pathom Province just west of Bangkok. It is the tallest free standing Buddha in the world.
“Phra Leela” is the Thai phrase for Walking Buddha, one of the many significant poses and postures that can be found in statues and other likenesses of Buddha in Buddhism.
